Malaysia MADANI.
This year’s theme, "Teaching Beyond Boundaries: Amazing
Innovation and Future Classroom," perfectly aligns with
UMK30, our strategic plan launched in January 2026.
Guided by UMK30, we are deeply committed to nurturing a
leading entrepreneurial university that is academically
excellent, research-driven, and future-ready. ITeLIC 2026
stands as a key reflection of this aspiration. In today’s rapidly
evolving educational landscape, driven by artificial
intelligence and digital technology, our roles as educators
have transformed.

We are no longer mere transmitters of knowledge but
facilitators, mentors, and lifelong learners. As we adapt to
this shift, we must ensure that technology never
overshadows the fundamental human values at the heart of
education: integrity, empathy, and inclusiveness. Innovation
should always have a purpose, which is to empower
educators, not replace them. ITeLIC 2026 serves as a
vibrant global platform to exchange transformative ideas,
showcase innovative teaching, and build meaningful
networks. Every innovation showcased here represents the
dedication and creativity necessary to shape future-ready
classrooms and prepare students for careers that do not yet
exist.
I wish to express my sincere appreciation to our Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and
International) for the visionary guidance, and to the Organizing Committee, led by Associate
Professor Dr. Mahani binti Yusoff, for their meticulous planning and dedication. To all participants,
may this carnival spark fresh ideas, foster strong collaborations, and inspire you to continue making
a lasting impact in your students' lives.
